Residentially more than 10,000 homes have been built and conveyed to fine
families in Nassau and Suffolk Counties of Long Island. Some
exceptional developments include Park Row a townhouse community of 450
townhomes together with a 425 affordable home project in Central Islip.
These homes were part of the Central Islip Planned Development District (PDD).
The Parr Organization prepared the master plan and the PDD in order to
design a plan for reutilization of the 800-acre form Central Islip State
Hospital property. This plan has lead to the reuse of the property
for a Technical College, two large courthouses, a 450-unit Townhouse
community and a 128-acre industrial park. The master plan also
formed the foundation of the adoption of the economic development zone
(“EDZ”) in Central Islip by the Town of Islip and State of New York.
A 100 Unit Townhouse Community in North Babylon known as Woods Edge and A
52 Single-Family Home Development in Nesconset, New York, known as
Windwood Oaks.
Brookhaven
Technology Center
The Company offers industrial zoned property, which we will build to suit either
for lease or sale and will consider selling land only.
This property is located within a 234-acre high-tech office
and industrial park known as Brookhaven Technology Center, featuring
all underground utilities. The Center is an outstanding national and
international “Gateway” location, with broadband interconnect fibre
and cable backbone transmission systems into the park featuring high speed
large capacity voice and data access throughout North America, to Europe
and Asia via Global Crossing’s transoceanic cables whose United States
end point is Brookhaven Technology Center. Keyspan Communications
provides up to OC192 capacity at Brookhaven Technology Center, with newly
installed 500 miles of cable along its electric transmission grid
connecting service into the park, throughout Long Island, and into New
York City. The main rail line of the Long Island Railroad (“LIRR”)
is immediately adjacent to Brookhaven Technology Center. Glass fibre
networks in the LIRR right of way carry voice and data communications from
the park directly to 60 Hudson Street in New York City, and from New York
City to other major US cities. Verizon and Metro Fibre Network also
service the park with voice and data fibre, providing back-up telco
capacity for Brookhaven Technology Center tenants.
